The "ZR1" Corvette arrived on the scene in 1990 with its much anticipated Lotus-Chevrolet designed "LT-5" 375 H.P, (the standard Corvette was rated at 245 H.P,). The new ZR-1 package included modifications to the body as well, in particular the doors, quarters and rear panels were made wider to handle the larger 11" rear wheels. Only 3,046 units were produced in 1990, original MSRP exceeded $60,000. This pristine example has been driven just 44 miles, the original window sticker is still affixed to the windshield. The ZR1 special performance package was a $27,016 factory option.
