This “X77” factory Z28 was restored several years ago under prior ownership. The original matching 302 block was removed and put on an engine stand for display and will go with the car. A new Dart 302 10.4:1 block was selected with New World performance heads and forged steel crank. This replacement block was painted Chevy orange, fitted with correct aluminum intake/valve covers and was dressed to replicate the appearance of the original engine. The stock Muncie 4-speed manual transmission was retained along with the 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 gears. Options include bucket seats, center console w/gauges, in-dash tachometer, Delco AM-FM radio, front/rear spoilers and cowl hood. The trim tag confirms exterior code “71” LeMans Blue with code “727” standard Ivory and Black interior. This is a classic Z28 that you can actually drive on today's busy roadways with the confidence that a new Crate Engine gives you.
