This very special production SLP Engineering Camaro was limited to only 2,263 units, this Z28/SS Camaro identifies as production number 1,505. The SLP division of GM was tasked with developing a "SS" package that offered more power, improved braking and improved handling. This "SS Alteration Package" (the first in 24 years) added an additional $4,835 to the original Z-28 sticker price and included a functional special ducted composite hood with cold air induction, 3-piece rear deck lid spoiler, rear facia extensions, P275/40ZR17 BF Goodrich radials on 17" x 9" ZR-1 style alloy wheels, special tuned suspension with larger anti-sway bars, performance exhaust, performance lube package, driving lamps, special "SS" carpeted floor mats, "SS" graphics and special "SS" car cover. The odometer shows just over 30,200 pampered miles and is reflected by the meticulous condition of this car, absolutely no performance modifications have been performed on this factory original. Under the hood sits a 5.7Litre SFI V8 producing 300 HP with reported 0-60 times in the 5.3 second range.
